Problem with AT95e cartridge

I am facing a peculiar problem with my new AT95e. Whenever I am using the cartridge, sound goes off for a few seconds & come back again automatically. Second thing ups & down in volume also noticed. Any help?

Seems like a loose connection
Check the needle properly inserted in cartridge
check the four connections on the cartridge properly inserted
tighten the headshell

Remove the headshell from the tone arm, clean the 4 connectors and then try again....
