Projector Advice

Is there any s/w player available which can convert & play in anaglyph in real time out of normal 2d video?

Taking the cheaper way out!

Real time 2d to 3d conversion using s/w is still a dream as of today.... However s/w exists that can play any 3d file in Analglyph format in real time. So if you are comfortable with this form of 3d, then you can enjoy all of the 3d files with your existing setup even now.

this has been covered before

Didn't have time to compare and look at other sites/sellers - but through ONE of many sellers on Amazon Spain - total total excluding customs comes to:

Confirmacin del pedido:
Productos: EUR 496,28
Envo: EUR 62,51
Importe total: EUR 558,79

ofcourse - i bet there are many cheaper options available on amazon itself, from other sellers - just dig around

update:
BHphotovideo.com has it for:
SubTotal: $419.99
Sales Tax: $0.00
Shipping: $70.08
Order Total: $490.07 excluding customs
UPS Express - 3-4 days delivery - Great deal; UPS is fantastic for international shipping - highly professional

what about customs?

Saket : inshades ans tma do not have any projector knowledge. The projectors they have suggested are 3D ready and will not play wit h3D blu ray player. DLP link is in DLP projectors but will only work with 3D emitter if you have to watch 3D Blu Ray Player. OR else you have to connect it with CPU wiht Quadro Graphic. Belive me its complicated .The people advicing you have no knowledge and are just commenting

Dont be a fake guru and mislead people into wasting hard earned cash by suggesting 1lac+ options where cheaper alternatives exist. Do not put your feet into your mouth by making observations about people you hardly know anything about and instead contribute positively to this forum by giving constructive / corrective suggestions if you can and thus demonstrate your wisdom/knowledge.. Let the readers decide who has knowledge or not..

That is what I have said earlier and there are no disagreements about this.

OR else you have to connect it with CPU wiht Quadro Graphic.
One needs ANY graphics card supporting 120Hz - Quadro or not does not matter..

Belive me its complicated.
What is the complexity you are referring to? Have you ever tried it? Based on what facts you came to the conclusion? Your reply seems to be like a typical sales/marketing pitch without any substance..

The people advicing you have no knowledge and are just commenting
I guess only time will tell who has what knowledge based on the comments / suggestions one gives.. Your comments to the forum queries in future will show how much you live up to your claim of being a projector guru...

Here is a PJ which claims to do even the real time 2d to 3d and direct 3D at sub 600$ price. I do not know how the reputation of Vivitek goes.
Vivitek Projectors: Vivitek D538W-3D DLP projector

I have recieved a quite of Rs.40000 for Viewsonic PLED W500 projector and 45000 for Optoma ML 500.
How is this should i try and bargain more or buy from US
please suggest.

@projectorguru99The projectors they have suggested are 3D ready and will not play wit h3D blu ray player

I suggested:

GT750 - connects directly with the 3d blu-ray player - if not, then probably GOD himself comes into my room every night and shows me 3D

AcerH5360BD - plays 3D out of the box - just connect your 3D player - again

The industry calls these kind of projectors, correctly so, FULL 3D PROJECTORS - and they started out as budget gamer projectors but have been expanding since....

And by the way, BOTH LED and LAMP-based projectors are DLP projectors (its called LED-based DLP or Lamp-based DLP)........the segregation is NOT between LED and DLP projectors - so YES, all of the above are DLP projectors.

If you must get in to details, the point is that these projectors have built in 1.4 ports.......like 3D blu ray players, PS3 thereby bypassing the need for converters like Optoma 3DXL which convert 1.3 signals to 1.4........

So when you connect them to a 3D blu ray player, you need normal 3D DLP glasses (and not the Nvidia emitter kind) because they 'connect' with with whats shown ON the screen and not some emitter

It's best if you back up comments with some links and concrete proof before passing on 'I feel that this is wrong' and misguide people

Sorry, either you had a couple of drinks before coming online - or you just wanna sell 1lacs+ projectors...

Correction typo - added PS3 by mistake in the sentence - doesn't have a 1.4 hdmi

you should try the egate P512, P442 models , while both play 3d content (without the need for any external attachment), one has WXGA resolution and the other is SVGA.
both have exceptional contrast ratio and likewise for other details too.

you should google the name egate projectors and visit the company website, they are also available on ebay.

am using one too n its great !

if you want 3d projector alongwith WXGA resolution and at an affordable price try the egate P512 model, it is great !

best part is that it uses LED based technology.

try the Egate P512, its LED and has a life of 50,000 hrs
HD compaible, 3D compatible, double USB port, HDMI port, 3000 lumens etc.

check it out on you tube & ebay

cheap led projectors are available on ebay and naptol

50 inch projector costs 5 k on naptol

50 inch to 100 inch and more are available on ebay starting 12 k ...

HI THERE

i need some advice about home made DIY screen..i been searching for the black out cloth retailer and am not able to find anyone online.
the question is if the black out cloth is unavailable or out of my reach can i use the flex sheet for the DIY screen ???

PLZ ADVICE...

i havent gone throo all of your questions but few points for you

3D ready projectors are not 3D projectors

always buy a 3d ready projector with a hdmi without that 3D ready is limited to computers only

you have to add a 3d converter for watching 3d movies from a 3d BD player

optoma 3D-XL convertor is the best option for that but bit expensive.

projection screen you can use black out cloth (am still searching for the shop)
or use the flex board
