1. Yes, it will work with Indian voltage without adopter
2. Acer uses Osram bulb, which is a 3rd party supplier. You can get the bulb easily in India. For acer, the bulb replacement is a cartridge and can be done by user. Download the user manual and you will know what I meant.
I was also in the same boat, my choice was Benq710st. But for a much lesser price you get full 3D, so shifted to acer.

We can save around 20k.
But, I need to work hard to convince parents at home to buy it online from an international seller. You know ... skeptical parents
