Aleskar, please continue to hold your breath, i need to survive, please do curse the pilot and hijackers if something happens.

Subhash, indeed it should not be khandahar, if it has to be then i would prefer shimla. There is no point to fly with jashwanth singh because instead of returning me the projector he will gift it to lk advani as he is very fond of movies.

Santosh, i hope you will not clap and laugh out loud if actually SYW commits suicide, if i get arrested for this then i will tell the cops you provided me the hdmi cable and needless to say that this suicide idea was yours.

SYW - Tragedy

Cmsajith, well when the order was placed with Visual, they surely had stock, it is only later that they ran out of stock, it seems SYW, offered to pay via 2 different modes and this was rejected by visual, which is very difficult to digest. Visual told SYW that they want a telegraphic transfer, on this SYW says that they do not have a policy to transfer money via wire, this was all the more abnormal. On the other hand, it seems SYW did some other blunders also as per details on this thread. However at this point of time SYW, is doing a good job, let us hope that a joker is not in the pipeline.

Gaurav, well it seems you like tragedy movies but now however the script is changed to a comedy movie, i will continue to show my patience as long as i do not become a patient, is a nurse listening?

Vinay, you have so many doubts about SYW, I am sure that you also have a doubt whether the consignment is actually a genuine projector or just a box full of waste paper?

Thanks for the concern.

Well about so many doubts, is a small word you have used keeping in mind the various writings on this thread about SYW.

The mistake is mine i should have not dealt with them because as good as none of the forum members have had any experience in dealing with them, we are a close held community, so i should have waited for several positive comments from others about SYW. There has been members who wanted to deal with them and i have told them to keep away because what if my end result with them is a disaster, therefore if i will have a good experience, then only others should venture out that too in a phased manner till the time it is proved that SYW is of repute and related.

There is a saying that even a elephant slips, it is like i never invest in mutual funds which have come out with a new offer, because there is no proven track record so similarly i should have dealt with SYW, only if they had a track record, and see my blunder, already 20north's image is at stake and yet i ventured with SYW.

Indeed you are right i would have doubt whether the consignment is actually a genuine projector or just a box full of waste paper. I know of several such cases, for example, a friend of mine who is a seasoned exporter for decades, imported 3 container loads of raw material, he lost a whooping 50 lacs, the 3 containers did come but content in each of them was mere 20% or so and that too inferior quality.

However at this point of time SYW is handling the matter to good satisfaction, and there could be a breaking news in next hour or so. We will have to hope for the best.

Indeed you are right, if we have a situation it is always great to write with regular updates laced with humor. This way we do feel lighter etc.

In-fact many of us may not be comfortable with many threads, so the middle ground is only one, to keep away and join in when the need be.

Hello Sri,

Well indeed life is cool and that eases pressure (if any), if something like a forum is around.

The paper is a fact and needles to say 480p is a bigger fact.

In the earlier phase SYW in many aspects was like a 480p and today they are 1080p, let us pray that they do not reverse to 480p.

One of the major reasons why people fail in stock market is that they may have a goal to recover some sort of money on opening bell, such possibilities exist only in the myth form.

If i need to recover something, that will be watching a lot of movies in the first several days upon receiving the projector.

I do not think much about week-end's or stock market, they will do what they have to, so three cheers to paper and 480p.

Sri, even the prime minister will not know how the market will behave, for that matter even mukesh ambani can not say how the shares will move of his own company reliance during the opening bell. At times the share will behave like 480P and suddenly it will switch to 1080P, that is a another story we will not know when the bulb will fail, like satyam computers.

Thatz good, so how come now SYW is able to bring fast, now it is hot to know it contains paper/480P PJ / 8350 Epson sticker alone / Real 8350 PJ from Epson as ordered?

F-16 Aircraft?

Hello Sri,

Indeed that is a mother of good that in the second round, SYW has moved with lightning speed, maybe they used the service of F-16 aircraft.

You are right, now i have to hold my breadth, maybe keep a doctor at stand-by or still take the projector's delivery at the hospital, because if something goes wrong, then the doctors can put me promptly on ventilator.

However such possibilities may be remote as the seller at amazon had a whooping 96% rating. Once courier guy comes with the projector, i will open the box in front of him, so that if there is a problem in terms of model, or damaged etc then i will take the photos and can call up SYW.

If there are some more precautions to be taken then please advice.

Please do NOT plug into AC outlet unless you are 100% sure that it accepts 220V.

Do take photo on arrival without removal of packing 4 sides / then step by step removal till you get the PJ fully out. I dont think courier fellow is responsible and he will not wait...SYW is responsible if at all it is laid in the condition in their website

Vinay, i don't think you will face any issues, personally i feel the worst is over, the only worry is customs may open and check the package for duty, otherwise should not be an issue.

i myself ordered a router from amazon and shipping that to a friend's colleague who is travelling at the end of the month, hopefully if all goes well i should have it in Jan first week. This is my second purchase from Amazon this year.
