Hi friends,
I am interested in purchasing Airtel HD DVR but I have few questions in my mind
1)I am willing to get all the required channels in A-La-Carte method.Is it necessary to recharge each and every month in this method or I can choose it 3 months,6 months time period in a single recharge.
2)I will mostly keep the HD DVR on for recording is it safe to do this because Airtel HD DVR don't have fan (few people complaints about their STB burning what will happen if anything like that happen will I get replacement without any charge).What will happen when it is in ideal will it go to sleep mode until the scheduled recording time arrives.
3)I am going to use this HD DVR with onkyo hts 3400 and samsung 2033 monitor(which has only Dvi and Vga port) setup.Will this monitor work with HD DVR(or hdcp kind of thing interfere with it) and also I have to connect hdmi output of dvr to onkyo hdmi input and onkyo hdmi output to samsung monitor dvi input,5.1 audio possible in this method because I have read several complaints about no 5.1 audio from hdmi cable.I already connected onkyo and samsung monitor for my HTPC setup.
