I only did the restoration job by reconing it for someone. Rest he will follow it up by following any of Tannoy box plans from www.hilberlink.nl/speaker.htm#cabinet

OK. All the best for reconing , do you use shims for reconing or test tone for alignment of cone assembly. One of my friend used test tone, and the results r ok

Looks nice Vivek. What about the diaphragms? The Tannoy MGs are legendary speakers, with the 15 inch as their top of the line driver.

I use shims to centre voice coil....followed by the spider and cone installation. I do not use test tone for alignment. In some case's I do sweep test tone signal's to check out for rubb & buzz and evaluate excursion limits.
