mabhi, Please take the time out to draft your posts in proper english, with capital letters and punctuations and the like. In its present form I had to read it a couple of times to understand what you were trying to convey. That could be the reason for the dull response you were citing above. Also one question mark would do the job, imho. No offense meant. :)

As for real movie experience, one that immediately comes to my mind, similar to what you have described as your experience, was watching 'Avatar' at our forum member Santhol2s home theater. It was the jungle came alive around me when watching those scenes in the movie.
It was a truly immersive experience.

IMO, home theatre demo rooms usually use gimmicky scenes to show off surround sound. You can replicate such experiences on any home theatre system provided you use the right scenes.

Here's a demo in which you can experience extremely realistic surround sound using just headphones - YouTube - Holophonic Matchbox (Use Headphones) (BETTER VERSION)

As for movie scenes, the roulette spin in this scene shows off surround sound really well - YouTube - Run Lola Run Casino Scene With English Subtitles

Of course, with high end systems movie scenes like this will sound even better. :)

Also learn to search. If you look into the threads started or participated in by Santhosh (Santhol2), you will find all the information you are looking for.

Cheers

mabhi, Santhol2 has a dedicated home theatre with emotiva umc1 pre processor, Rotel multichannel power amp, B&W and Wharfedale speakers, with Optoma hd20 projector and a 120 inch screen.
As the mod suggested, search and you will find the same described in detail with pictures.

I think you are talking abt 2002/03 av show & yes I was influenced by Denon set up which had Profx Towers with Yellow kevlars.I still remember X-men 2 Demo with Rs.1.5lak AVR.I was not knowning the name of mov that time, but really loved the sound effect.
In other show, they played Iceage 1 scene & that made my mind to start journey towards HT setup.I could start only with DVDp 1st & then got Onkyo system later.

Mabhi, I have time and again requested you to write your messages properly, and form you sentences properly. You don't seem to take heed at all of my and other member's request. I am closing this thread.

Cheers
