Recommendations for Acoustic Guitar Songs

Mostly Rock, Metal. I am inclined to listen to Acoustic guitar

Check out acoustic versions or unplugged performances of Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, JJ Cale.
If venturing into other genres, try the blues, not acoustic guitar but definitely enjoyable electric.
Check out this guy, Ben Harper. Very strings oriented.

Cheers,
Raghu

Al di meola and paco de Lucia , both play a mean guitar.

Chris Jones - No Sanctuary here
Allan Taylor - Wheel of Fortune
Nils Lofgren - Kieth Don't Go
Eagles - Hotel California

well list goes on ...

Sumit, by the way there are some Indian recordings too that you could use to showcase your speakers. For instance, you could try the song, "Jaag ke kaati" from the movie Leela. Composed and sung by Jagjit Singh. It is actually a competitive jugalbandi with an acoustic guitar. One of the last recordings by the greatest Indian sound engineer Daman Sood. Even the starting beat on the tabla (after the initial alaap) is a test of attack and agility for the speaker.

And remember to buy some CDs, LPs or uncompressed Hi-res digital downloads. No point investing in audio equipment and then abusing it with low quality material. YouTube would not demonstrate the potential of your speakers.

Some mainstream stuff, if you fancy: :D
