Reliance out to be the largest player in OTT arena in the world. (Claimed by Reliance).
Dont know how many of us have experienced reliance jio music, but from my own experience, can safely say that saavn is by far the best of the lot.
Dont know by how much is this mearger going to impact quality.
Please post it views.

Jio music is pure shit in UI and search functionality. May be Saavn code could teach them few things.

Btw nice intelligent move Saavn, Sold it off just 10 days before Spotify entering into Indian market. Always suspected that Saavn service was a test by Spotify in India anonymously funding it. (Just an assumption )

Had that been the case, Spotify would have taken the alibaba-paytm route to enter Indian market.
Saavn is better known in Indian market as compared to Spotify. Equally popular amongst casual listener.
Any idea about their pricing in India?

The prices aren't out yet but $9.99 subscription cost wouldn't work out in crowded Indian market. Lets see if Spotify takes the the Apple route too !
