CNET has reviewed what they claim is the best performing edge lit TV beating Sony's NX800 and LG's LH5500 as expected but obviously with plenty of flaws.
In short,
Pros
Good Colour accuracy
Deeper blacks than all tested edge lits including the NX800
Greater number of picture controls even better than the LG's some of which are useless
Good motion resolution of approx 1080 lines but strangely with variations across the screen
More dejudder settings
Cons
Crosstalk as expected in 3D
Poor uniformity and viewing angles as usual with LCDs
Slightly poorer implementation of dejudder/blur controls compared to last year resulting in smoothing out of film based content.
