Usually compilations don't apeal me, so i was a tad skeptic when my roommate and best buddy in everuthing egged me on in 2004 to pick this one up at planetM, hesitantly i glanced at the back and saw names like Enigma, Enya at the top and then some names those were totally unknown to me. Still we picked it up to give it a try, and man what a gem of a compilation it turned out to be, audiophiles and particularly people with a taste for new-age music, this one is something you always wanted from a new age compilation, complete well rounded deep and comforting.

This album introduced me to some very fine artistes that i might never have dared to buy just looking at the covers, and taught me a lesson for life, that you can never judge the music by the cover art.
Sharad's post today reminded me of one of the most memorable nights of my ife that i spent listening to Pure Moods I for the first time as a 20 year old and it still continues to be one of my top favourites.
