Folks, sad news from a few days ago - Siegfried Linkwitz, the famed audio designer well known for his contributions to Filters, Speaker and Crossover design, has passed away on 11th September:

Much of the commercial Speaker ecosystem depends heavily on the theory and practice of Linkwitz-Riley filters originated by Linkwitz and Riley in 1976.
