I have an edifier c3 hooked up to my computer. Though the sound is quite o.k., it's severely underpowered, and with a hardly-there bass.

I'm looking for something that can reproduce crystal clear mid range and a very punchy bass at low volumes (since i stay in an apartment complex and can't be loud).

Particularly some big time bass, since ive been deprived of it for a while now.

Please suggest some options so that I at least know what i should audition before buying.

Budget's quite tight: around 25-30k

I listen to mostly classic rock.
