Room Acouatics treatment.

Hi all. I have 5.1 speaker set up with polk speakers and Denon 2400 H receiver. The place where this set up was installed was not planned well regarding of room asthetics and acoustics.

As you can see in the pics two sides having doors and one side having two windows of (4*4). I am out of india i il come to my home for 30 days in a year.Last August only the package and speaker installation was completed.When i listen songs the Echo was there and no clarity of sound.

Can anyone suggest me acoustic treatments. I cant do DIY. Wat about MMT ACOUSTIX panel.

In that room no false ceiling also.May be next 3 years time am going to upgrade the room to 16*16 .
Pls suggest some useful ideas to manage this room for next 2 years time.

Can i go for acoustic panel and bass diffusers. I am planning one ceiling panel and 3 wall panels of 54 sq feet.

Pls advice and give suggestions.m

Even in this day and age of surround sound, the front soundstage remains critical: that's where your attention will be focused, whether watching a movie or listening to music. As such, you should try to cover the front wall (at least between the L/C/R speakers) with broadband absorption to keep front wall reflections from muddying the front soundstage. Same with the middle half of the back wall. Reflections off the side walls are outside the front soundstage and generally found to be pleasing because they aid in spaciousness, so absorbing them is optional.
