I have Samsung 55" H6400 TV bought 15 months ago. It's not beyond warranty period.

Since 3 days right half of the screen (exactly the right half) is having strips from top to bottom & that side of the screen is brighter than the left half.

Is this repairable? What can I do.

Please help.

I have attached some screenshots.

Hi

Have you tried different channels? Have you changed the cables / wires ? Have you tried connecting other devices besides TV Set Top Box....

Reconnect everything as if you are installing for the first time...and check...

If the issue persists then contact Service centre....

All the best

I had odd problems with the picture which slowly got worse till I called Samsung for warranty repair. They had to change the display !
Don't delay if you are towards the end of warranty !

Yes I have tried this.

This happen to Analog TV, HDMI 1-4, AV & all modes.

I tried re-cable and also reset the TV. No luck.

Could be a T- CON board problem. You will have to show it to the service centre. If it is a panel problem a new TV will be a better thing than repair

Its a panel issue. My old Samsung tv also had the same problem, 7 series led . Mine was like, horizontal lines on the display. Finaly Samsung call back the tv. Bcoz they don't have the panel to change

Was it under warranty?
Nope. After 3 years of use I got the issue. They told that it will cost 30K to change the panel for 40" tv,so I used the tv as it is one more year. Later one year the issue was horrible. Thn I was willing to change, but that time they don't have the piece to replace. So they paid me and took the tv back [emoji17]

Yeah they paid me 40K for the tv. Which I bought for 1.10 lack, aftr nearly 5 years of use.
First I have submitted the tv to the service center. They took an estimate. After one month they transfer the check to me
