I have recently purchased Yamaha YHT 2910. My TV is 42 Inch Panasonic THL42U30 with ARC feature with 3 HDMI Ports but does not have Optical Out. Im using Dish TV Tru HD STB with Optical out feature on STB
I have connected the Dish TV STB top box to AVR and from AVR i have taken HDMI Out to my TV. Everything is fine and Perfect at this point. Problem arises when i change the input to play music from USB or other AV inputs and change it back to set top box (Via HDMI 2) the TV goes blank without picture nor sound and HDMI OUT continuously flashes in Red on AVR. For it to work properly again then i have to reboot the STB by switching it off and on.
Experts please advise and guide me how to solve this problem. I think it is some hand shake issue with HDMI.
