Bought this Auvio HD/FM tuner a few years ago from Radio Shack on sale for $30! Sounds much better than my ten year old Denon receiver's tuner section, especially if hooked up via the digital PCM output, plus I get the added bonus of HD channel stations that half of my area's radio stations currently broadcast. Analog FM reception tends to be better with the old BIC Beam Box and I also use pair of rabbit ear antennas to boost the HD sub-channel's signal strength. There are modifications posted online that swap out the op-amplifier for a upgrade and improve the analog output quality, one is listed here: Auvio HD Radio Tuner Mod Improves Analog Outputs Sound | The Virtual Venesect
