Hi,

I am looking for a slim AV Receiver (Space Constraints in current furniture). Budget is less that 75-80K. (Height of the shelf is 150 mm.)

Can anybody suggest me AVR ? ( I had finalized Onkyo 609 but it does not fit there.)

I would advise you against it as, you are playing with fire, and here's why...

If your speakers are *problematic speakers*....these low end receiivers will pose a huge problem as they may not be able to drive them. Some speakers require more current than some others and these low end receivers will definately not have the capacity to drive speakers which have *bad* impedance-phase responses.

Second, more importantly. The receiver requires room to breathe.....in other words 'Requires Ventilation', and this is a MUST!!!!! Your receiver can get toasted if you stuff in a closed box environment...like what you are trying to do with not much of space above it.
Good ventilation is...3-6 inches left and right...at least 6 inches on top. More the better! And kept in a kool place not in direct sunlight or places where it will tend to get hot

unless the OP has provisions to pump in / out air buy adding fans at the rear of the enclosure where he plans to keep the slim AVR. seems less likely.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
