Hi All,

I am looking for a 40-42" smart TV in the budget range (~60-65k). My requirements are
1. Excellent picture quality
2. Durability (as i am planning to keep it for > 5 yrs)
3. Able to play a wide range of movies from USB/harddisk/Laptop
4. Easy to use smart features like you tube and other apps
Another good to have, i feel, is built-in wi-fi.

I have shortlisted Sony 40EX650/42W650A, Panasonic 40E6D and samsung UA40F5500AR.
and i am inclining towards the last two models as they have built-in wi-fi.

Please help as i am really confused  and there is no proper LED range review available online.

imho let the tv do display only..
there are stand alone smart devices for smart purposes...
let them do their job..
leave the tv..

at 65k..sony ex650 is a good one..
btw what will be your use?cinema....stb..mixed,,,game??

Regarding smart features I am very happy with my panasonic tv.
Hassle free streaming of online or local content from my galaxy note 2.
Just one touch transfer. No need to set anything in the tv menus. Its as if the tv is always ready to accept connection from any source wirelessly. :p

Hi Prosenjit, i guess i will mostly will be watching movies (dish tv or DVD or USB drive). and games some times.

Let me know pros and cons.

okay sony ex650 os a good one..at this budget
if you know the taking care hassle of plasma..can try them also..as they will give better pq than a similar priced led anyday..
for pc and gaming plasma i wont suggest
for full cinema use(not from stb)...plasma is the only choiuce i belive
demo and decide..
and yes some smart feutures are inbuilt these days in almost al tvs..so concentrate on the picture quality only
