Sony KDL-46W950A - Red LED blinks 8 times

Hi, my Sony 46W950A keeps turning off within a few seconds of turning on and the standby led blinks red 8 times. Sony said board not available. Called a couple of local technicians and both blamed the main board and not able be find one. I found the board on one of the Chinese website. Could this really be the main board? Should I take the risk and order from China? Can’t somebody just repair the existing board?

I am from Chennai and it will be great if you guys can point me at the right direction.
