Dear all,
Could you please tell me where to source an isolation type step down transformer in Bhubaneswar?
I recently purchased a Sony STR-DH740 through ebay geb, it is yet to arrive but looking at the user manual I see that it is rated power consumption is 240W and power input is US type.
Heard good things about Maxine brand but they don't seem to be stocked in any online retailers.
ebay.in has some unbranded step-down transformers and ebay global easy buy also has some step-down and step-up transformers which they source from US. Nowhere they mention that these are isolation type transformers. I have already lost a Yamaha receiver due to voltage surge and I am thinking an isolation type will help. The Yamaha receiver was connected to at 1kV servo stabiliser, still lost it.
Could anybody point out how to source these isolation step-down transformers either online or locally in Bhubaneswar?
