Spade to Banana adapter - recommendations needed

Hey! I recently purchased a pair of Cardas Clear Light Speaker cables. These are factory terminated with spade connectors. Unfortunately my ML ESL speakers can accept only banana plugs. I do not want to reterminate the speaker cables. I looked at some 'spade to banana' adapters on amazon.in, but am not sure about their quality...don't want the adapter to be the weak link in my system. Any suggestions?

I thought from the looks of it, that you should be able to connect a spade termination to a banana plug. Isnt that the case? So all you need is a good quality banana plug and not necessarily a spade to banana adaptor.

I am guessing from the looks of it, so may be wrong.

Thanks sud98. Not all banana plugs accept spades. Some accept spades as well as other bananas. I have some VDH banana plugs but they don't accept bananas.

Then, can you splice off the spade and put in a banana plug? Check with Cardas, what they recommend in this case.

Sorted. I ordered Cardas spade to banana adapters from the UK. About 50.
