Hi Guys,
I am new to this place. Needed some help.
I have a 30 year old Akai Bush Music system which i took over from my dad. It has provided excellent service over the years and i have no thoughts of parting with it. The Equalizer, Cassette player and Amp are in perfect running condition. I play Cds through an old Sony cd player, which itself is 24 years old. But the Speakers have shown their age after soo long.
The original Speakers are 3 way with 2" tweeter, 3" midrange and a 8" woofer. In one Speaker the woofer had blown sometime back and my dad had replaced it with some local woofer.
Now I think i have two Options infront of me:
1. Buy a new pair of Bookshelf Speaker/ floorstanding speakers.
2. replace all the drivers in the Original speakers.
I would love to go with the second option, jus to retain the original speakers and the look..coz i think the look of the speakers matches the music system.
So guys would really like some help and feedback. Budget is around 10-12k.
attaching some pics of the system.Sorry for the pics quality. Taken with a phone.
