Buy an integrated Amp (wats yr budget??) to connect your ipod to it....
OR if u have an AVR with zone 2 out...then separate amp is not required.....

Speakers: ProFx ceiling speakers
Profx - Advanced Audio Solutions

no i dont want to put any other system with it..
so the spakers should have one pin, which i connect directly to my ipod and then it shd play... hope that helps

budget = 3- 10K

i want the speakers on the cieling.
the speakers can be powered also, i can arrange for them to give power in my wall.

but i do want a simple cord hanging out where i can just plug in my ipod and it works

i am willing to put an extra switch, so i enter the bathroom, turn the switch on, which i hope will power the speaker. and then i plug my ipod on the wire.. and it shd work..

hope i am able to explain what i want, and its possible

Power means...u need to add an amp....its not electric power...
There s no other way but connect the speakers with an amp amp can be at some other place...the speakers can be switched....and ipod also can be connected with a wire...but it has to be connected to the amp....

i used to have some local speaker which had 2 cables, one for electircity and the othe 3.5mmm jack for sound input...i suggest you go for such kinds, but i m affraid it wnt be a ceiling thing, it was more like a BS speaker...

Buy a decent quality desktop speaker w/ builtin amp and strip off the cabinet / make an arrangement to flush mount in the ceiling.

I would rather suggest to buy a 2.1 intex, microtek, logitech speakers and place the same in wash room...it will give more classy look, the sub can go under the basin...ultimate sound then ;)
