Speakers on Skoda superb

Hi all,

Just out of curiosity want to know as to what are the stalk speakers on the new skoda superb. They sound great but don't have a way to figure that out.

Maybe we can list down all types of stalk speakers that comes with all cars. Maybe stereo systems too

OEM supplier could be Blaupunkt.

Why don't you go to a Skoda Dealer near you & ask the accessories counter in charge for the info??? Am sure he must be knowing.

They are "superb" speakers:lol:

On a serious note, they may be blaupunkt or some other non-branded OEM. We had an Opel Astra Club a few years ago, while the headunit was Blaupunkt, the speakers were a no-brand speaker, but they sounded pretty OK.

The old Skoda Laura ws fitted with Bose speakers. so i think in superb also it will b the same...

If were Bose or B&O, you are likely to find their label on the speaker grille.

^^ Yep. The speakers are most likely made by Bosch. So it is quite likely they are same speakers that get sold under the Blaupunkt brand.

VW Group has tie-up with Blaupunkt for their lower end brand models (VW / Skoda / Seat)

Would be surprised if you find anything exotic like B&O fitted in the Superb

Played with these in a friends S8 a couple of years back, then it was a novelty for me, now feel it was just a gimmick :lol:

The speakers in superb are amazing. If you're looking at a good sound with a basic 3 bar equaliser, the company fitted speakers should be more than enough. The do lack a bit in bass so you can consider adding a sub if bass is your thing...

Think skoda cars r fitted with boston acoustic speakers. Could be wrong though i remember a friend who owns a laura saying so to me.
