I have thought of buing marantz 5001 or 5600 which is 90 watts rms. I have
listen to a lot of mid and high frequency music. Would any one suggest me which speakers should i buy as front speakers and where it is available in bangalore. I have a budget of rs 30000=00 for my front speakers alone.
Thanking you.

Since you are located in bangalore I would suggest you hear the EPOS M5 Speakers. The EPOS M5 fall in your budget and can be used for the front stereo pair as well as for the surrounds with your setup.

U have to decide between bookshelves and floorstanders. In this budget there aren't many floorstanders around.

In floorstanders, u may audition the following:

1) Sonodyne Sonus 2605
2) Wharfedale Diamond 8/9 series
3) Monitor Audio BR6
4) Dali Concept 6

I you want bookshelves, u can audition the following:

1) KEF iQ3
2) Monitor Audio BR2
3) Dali Concept 2
4) Polk RTi 4/6

Thanks for your advice. I have acoustic energy evo 3 floor standing speakers. I am not happy with outcome. Please advice

Just demo as many as u can. Take along the same CD that u like most for all demo to differentiate.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
