Bad luick to those who tried and didnt get it-it really was an excellent deal. These deals sometimes are so good that there are many, many takers worldwide. In addition one may accidentally stumble on them after quite some time has lapsed. I got one for myself and another for a buddy through my sons in the US who ordered them promptly

I had difficulty in getting both discounts working initially, and so did some people outside of the US. Santhosh got luckySanthosh, you and I should meet to celebrate once your piece comes in! I may not be overly interested in more of these, but if I come across any similar but interesting deals will definitely post details.

George, as of this morning, my Squeezbox also reached my Borderlinx address. However, since Borderlinx allows 30 days before I ship it to India, I will wait for some more time to see if anything else interests me. This way I will bring down the shipping costs which is estimated around 3.5k at the moment.

Finally, I got my Squeeze Box Duet yesterday. I had delayed it as I was also shipping some automobile parts in the same Borderlinx consignment.

Setting it up was a breeze. I set it up last night in under 10 minutes. Got to listen to some flac briefly. Initial impressions of SQ were good, will do a comparo with my CDP for the same songs ripped in FLAC. It is very easy to use, has a scroll dial like an Ipod. Also tried some Internet Radio, played with ease without any stutter. SQ for Internet Radio is much better than I expected. Will write more after I have had some more listening time on it.

I did it dozens of times and the 640C v2 blew my SB3 away, but this was via analogue out using QED Qunex without an external DAC - SQ was dull and boring off SB3.

Never did any comparison via digital out and DAC, should equal cdp, i bet.

I will eagerly be waiting to read your comments on the external DAC and how that compared to its own Wolfson DAC.

Is there a provision for typing the name of the artist? How does it work if I want to listen to PinkFloyd or Peter White (smooth Jazz)?

Santosh - any news on this , I had almost committed myself to a cd6003 then heard of the touch's and the duets and have got hooked. would love to hear a comparision between cdp and these ?
