Hi,

Have a look at this steam driven Turntable.

Steam-run turntable takes the steampunk thing a bit too literally | DVICE

Amazing what some people do.

An added bonus is that along with the music you have the accompanying sound of a tea pot going off.Also, dont have to worry about the power cord compromising the sound.:lol:

if this had ever been the norm, you would had people on these forums talking about how the 'steam sound' is the true sound and how it conveys an emotion and a magic that cannot be described in words that only steam-heads can truly understand , and cannot be matched by electronics.

I read about it on the Vinyl Asylum.

I think the creator was not thinking about sound quality,but more about creating an unique item.
