Stereo receiver + BS speakers set

I am planning on a HiFi for my bedroom where Video is banned :sad:

My requirement
1) Play from USB or 3.5mm jack + component or coax
2) 2ch 50w is suffcient
3) FM is must
4) BS
5) Max 30/35K (inclusive of speakers)


I can see CA Topaz SR as the only option in India which is a stereo receiver + CA S30.

Are there any other stereo receivers available in India.

Is this the right approach or am I better off with a stereo only integrated amp + separate media player with FM + BS

I am open to used, if anyone has a set to dispose off, pm me.

You can also take a look @ Onkyo TX 8020... But it doesn't have USB (TX 8050 has)... For bedroom this should be an ideal fit....Not sure abt indian price...

If you have sources in Dubai/ Malaysia get the onkyo TX 8050 / 8020 from there.... You will save lot of money....

For speakers, you can look @ Sonodyne Sonus 1501, PSB Alpha, Polk TSx & Cambridge S 30.... All within 10 - 15K.....

Doesn't have FM tuner. That is must. Or should I consider an external tuner. Does an integrated tuner sound better?

If you can spend 32K on stereo amp alone then I guess Marantz M-CR603 Network CD Receiver is you best bet, it is a Network player, built in CDP, built in 60+60 W amp, built in AM-FM, can connect to internet radio stations too

Please check the For Sale section for used items and also you may post a thread in Wanted section.

Otherwise in less than 15K you will get Sonodyne SIA320 or Norge 2060 or 1000 which are very good.
