Stylus / Cartridge for Technics 2000 SL

My friend lost stylus from his Techincs TT SL2000. So which are places in Chennai to get same? Any other universal cartridge can replace stock cartridge?
His budget is limited, i.e. upto 3.5K so I am thinking to propose AT cartridge.

You can take used Shure cartridges or new Audio Technica AT91.
