Hello all,
Iam looking for sub woofer for Yamaha 779 AVR please suggest me the sub which is the best b/w polk dsw 440 and bic america f12 12-inch 475-watt front speaker Polk Audio RTI A7/A5.

Hi

Given a choice between Polk and BIC America, I would go for BIC America as it is a good front firing sub with a rear port...freq is 24hz - 200hz......true value for money....good for music, movies and gaming.....

Based on your budget, there are also other brands like Velodyne, SVS etc....audition and decide ......

If you have the budget, go for SVS subs.
If you want to choose between polk dsw 440 and bic america f12 12-inch, polk is 10' and F12 is 12' woofer. Key is to audition and trust your ears. Subs are very important part of your HT, they are more off feel than the sound itself.

PB1000 is ~ 45K and is really good for movies, if that's what your preference
