Looking to upgrade my Velo Impact 10.

Budget around 50K. Thought of Velo Eq Max which is now WiQ, B&W ASW 610 (slightly pricey), Dali E-12... any others... Mainly need it for movies .. but would prefer that its good for music as well... Any other suggestions.

SVS PB1000 best for movies at that price. Also have a look at XTZ 10.17

IMO - an upgrade of the sub may not get you that far..

think of using the money else where

Keep your current sub & add an other velodyne sub of same 10 inch.. Would be very good for movies..

Assume you are using MA Rx6 based on your signature....these deliver 38hz (as stated in specs).

You need a sub which can get as close as 20hz.....(humans supposedly can hear frequencies between 20hz to 20khz).....

With your budget, there are ample subs available.....

Suggest you go for this one.....12 inch sub.....

I have been using the same for more than a year now and have no challenges for movies and music....perfect smooth clean blend.....

There is a Dali K14 available in the For Sale by Owner section....thats good too....

As suggested by FMs,go for dual sub setup of the same model which you already have .You will be much benefited...

How does dual sub set up help? wanted to understand...

It will bring balanced low frequency to your room and you will hear the sweet spot across the room as opposed to one sub and a particular placement to get sweet spot.

BIC America F12 and PL200 are the best for price-tag they carry. Amazon has thousands of reviews on BIC F12 and many HIFIvision members own them and very happy with performance and LFE response.
Also take a look at Rythmik L12 and Rythmik LV12R on the higher end.
