Hi People,
I run dual subs ( yamaha sw300 ) and I find that during quiet moments especially during movies the auto standby function kicks in little too frequently. Can this be offset by setting a higher subwoofer trim value in the AVR and lowering the subwoofer gain on the sub volume control? Am curious as to what the correct way is to set the trim and gain. Also wont the crossover freq have an effect on the sensitivity of the auto standby function? As I am running duals I can set a higher crossover as localisation wont be a problem. Wont setting a higher crossover freq send higher freqs to the sub and therefore have an effect on auto-standby?
