Hi friends,

I like polk bookshelves as these will serve my small bed room. I am confused between these series Polk Rti a1 and polk tsx 110b.
Rti a1 is 7k more than 110b. Is it worth spending extra 7k or should I save this amt in puchasing the sub psw 110.

Pls. let me know the difference between 2 way speaker bassreflex bookshelves and 2 way speaker bookshelves
Is 2 way speaker bass reflex really make the difference if we have a sub of 200w

Thanks
Srikar

Hi,

I own A1 .. and was in the similar situation like you .. there are primarily following reasons why I took A1 instead of 110b

1. A1 sounded better to my ears as far as music is concerned
2. Its real wood .. fantastic looking .. and supposedly will have longer life
3. Have plan to upgrade to Floorstander in near future .. and A5 much better than tsx FS .. so .. didn't want to get it 'misaligned'

Again .. this is my thinking .. would request you to please audition them .. and choose based on what your ears/heart says ..

Thanks

Hi Alok,

Nice to hear that you own RTI series. I finally ordered RTi A1 today. What sub & center you have? I am interested in TSX 150c and PSW110.

Alok, from your previous posts, I came to know that you have CSi A4 and PSW 110. which receiver you have?

Thanks

I got A1 for 18,900. I got only 10 percentage discount. Need to negotiate as I am planning to purchase sub and center now..

I have got inverter .. which is full sinusoidal waves .. and UPS mode .. so kind of never though of any stabilizer as such for this ..

I have a LG Bluray player at present ..

Thanks
