For your budget getting 55" TV and above in UHD clarity has remote chance. You may have to increase the budget to get it from SONY or Samsung.

If you are not specific about these 2 brands, you would get it in MI or TCL for sure with in your budget.

Croma was selling Samsung NU8000 (55") for 75K during Republic day sale and then the price was revised to 82K after 29th Jan. They said they are clearing the stocks of this model and they quoted 10% extra discount for display piece. So visit your nearest Croma outlet and check if they still have stocks available..

I think the NU8000 is out of stock. Was told so by a dealer in trivandrum last week. Its also out of stock online (Amazon for 55')

Almost finalised on Samsung NU7100 (2018) 55inch for 68k. Seems to fit the bill. Thanks guys.
If you haven't got NU7100 already, go for NU7470. Should be around 80k. Better picture and colors than 7100. Inbuilt Set-Top-Box support. Dish TV, Airtel & Sun, may be more.

But, better go for 7470 due to it's colors and panel.
NU7100 viewing angles are not good.

I thought they both share same panel.

You should check both side by side with same channels running on them.
7470 has much better color production and better viewing angles.
7100 and lower series are really poor in viewing angles and when you view them from a distance and an angle.

IMO sony picture quality in terms of sharpness and color accuracy nothing comes close. Easily the best LED TV but will cost more then 80 k for 55 inches.
