Suggestions on 2.1 Computer Speakers

Bose companion 2 Series II might be worth considering as well, comes in at 8.1K (Companion 2 Series II Multimedia Speaker System)

I have short listed following
1. Swans M10
2. Altec Lansing 6021
3. Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 (THX Certified).
But it is really difficult to find such one in .

I do not believe the 6021 is available. If so I'd like to buy a set. Anyone know where to get the 6021?

why dont buy a integrated amp and 2 bookshelfs within 20-25k...sound wise will be great.just an idea.no offence

Actually I too was looking for speakers for my computer system (to replace an Altec FX6021 system which has died). My requirements were

1. Wall Hanging satellites
2. Undertable subwoofer
3. Not to many wires (read as integrated amplifer)

My choices:
Creative's T6
Creative ZiiSound T6 2.1 speaker system - Premium Bluetooth wireless speakers with 5.1 surround
Bose's Companion 5
Bose Companion 5 Multimedia Speaker System
Klipsch Pro Media 2.1
ProMedia 2.1 Computer Speakers | Klipsch

Creative T6's wall bracket is not available, I did not care too much for the sound of Bose's Companiion 5, and Klipsch too does not have wall mounting brackets available.

There are others too but like the Audioengine they not wall mounteable

Where can one get wall mounting brackets that will fit either the Creative T6 or Klipsch Pro Media?

Anybody knows who is the dealer for Altec Lansing in Chennai? I searched a lot in their web site and googled but could not find. Also is there any possibility to get MX5021 from online stores? If not what is the equivalent ? I heard MX6021 is not as good as MX5021 .

For those looking at a reasonably cheap option, Harman Kardon Soundsticks are a good option. Available at JBL entertainment lounges and also possibly at Mac dealers.

I myself use a Yamaha YST MS50 2.1 set -- would not give it more than 3 out of 5 stars, but compared to the price I paid (about INR 5000 in 2001), definitely a bargain.

Also a Jamo 2.1 set is available in some ezone outlets.

Edifier C3 is a definite consideration for Sub 10K 2.1 computer speakers. I can vouch for their quality.

I bought the Altec Lansing Expressionist Bass Ultra MX6021 last year. I am pretty satisfied. Got them for around 8k.

Just to update everyone I had actually tried getting the Harman Kardon Soundsticks back in Sep 2012 and they said its not available and there is some waiting time. Also they had no place where I could audition these. Was surprised they didnt even have any good range of speakers at Palladium where they have a good sound studio.

Anyways I had ended up buying the Swans M50W

How do they sound when connected to a PCs onboard connectors? Do they need separate sound cards to perform well? Also how is the bass.. boomy or tight?
