SunDirectHD leaves its customers in lurch. Denies viewing espnHD/StarCricketHD. Demands Bradmansque Rs.3250, revises it to himalayan Rs.13200. Takes the HD consumers for a raide. Are their bosses watching or D'souza ruling?.
Hope they will resolve the tangle.

Exactly my point. I said this to Sun Direct CC on the phone. They were not even willing to accept a complaint about their pricing policies. I am just going to wait when time comes up for renewal in a couple of months. The only way that a consumer can make a point is with his pocket!

Sun direct HD showed Australia vs Kenyan match free without any packages. The channels were encrypted until yesterday. I was able to watch star cricket HD. ESPN HD is still encrypted.

Not sure if that was a technical glitch or they decided to give a 12000 Rs package free for HD customers.

Hey, thats right. Finally, Sun Direct beamed that one match that I watched and enjoyed thoroughly till the end.... ESPN Hd was also showing the other New Zealand match and closed it as soon as it was finished.

Like always, this HD sports feed messed up the other HD channels and none of the other 7 HD channels were showing up till now. DD HD is showing up but for no reason to watch the obsolete CWG on it.

Looks like these guys woke up again. Star Cricket HD is showing the West Indies vs Pakistan match live now. Hope this stays for the rest of the matches in the cup. Pray lord

I think it is the rights issue between these Dth service providers. As SUN is refusing to give the rights for their South Indian HD channels to the other DTH operators cause SUN wanted to capitalize with customer base. Hence it may be that SUN have to pay through their nose to the sports HD channels for the rights which they are trying to peanalise on the customers.

However I have Airtel HD who have charged me Rs.165 for six months for ESPN HD, but other than this Airtel is useless.
