Tatasky SD and HD services General Feedback and Requests

Few requests and feedback I have observed:

1. Improve Sound Quality of SD channels especially Hindi Entertainment channels like Zee TV. Picture has improved through bit reduced compression and latest software update on TS HD and TS+HD platform

2. Make "TataSky" logo translucent in Star Gold HD which is currently solid only on this channel

3. Implement "TataSky" logo support from STB instead of broadcasting the channels with logo (like in Dish TV)

4. Try to broadcast channels in the original bitstream they are received instead of recompressing at lower bitrate and adding the Tatasky logo. They should start sharing of Transponders instead of relying on their own TPs.

5. Try utilizing DD Direct+ transponders to RELAY ALL the DD Direct+ channels and free their own TP space (like Dish TV has always done)

1. Make the " Piracy Security" number displayed translucent - and after dislplaying a couple of seconds right in the middle of the screen to randomly move it away.

1. Make the " Piracy Security" number displayed translucent - and after dislplaying a couple of seconds right in the middle of the screen to randomly move it away.

2. Give the "Delete" option for the many mails/ messages - that are displayed via the "Yellow Envelope" symbol: which sometimes refuse to go off screen, unless one reads or opens the message. For e.g. I for one, never watch Hindi movies, and am not interested in reading an offer for " Tannu weds Bannu" or whatever.

3. Get the channels to stop making those obstrusive ads for "coming soon" or next programme that often obscures the face or important aspect of the current programme.

2. Guess we may need more people to vouch for this as the symbol disappears after we read the message (which could be an important message).
3. I completely agree on this. Especially some of the news channels even hide some running programming info behind tickers and news "flash". However, now we have started talking about channels. Lets stick to TS services as they may not have control over how content providers do the programming. We will need another thread for such requests

Prankey, that is, exactly my point: why should I have to read a message that I am NOT INTERESTED IN for the symbol to dissapear ?

For eg; right in the middle of the World Cup match the envelope symbol appeared on my TV - and refused to dissapear. Keep in mind that TS tries to maximise the time a subscriber need to open the message, by taking over 60 sec to upload the screen, by first displaying messages like " order Actve games" etc etc ...

It should be left to the subscriber if he wants to read the message : important or not. Do the editors of a newspaper you have bought make you read a story that you are not interested in ? It may be a very important topic no doubt, but that is up to the reader to decide!

I did understand your point, however its like a SMS notification. Guess we should have a way to hide it on the STBs.
