Read up on one of their models that have tubed output stage. I think it also acts as 24/96 USB DAC.

I heard a Shanling several years ago...forgot the model...it looked like a space station...sounded good, a bit warm. Had a bit of a whirring sound of the CD spinning. The brand has a reasonable following in US. Considering it's chinese, not sure of the build quality though the one I heard looked pretty solid.
