these guys have seriously thought of covering all bases
theyve now got floorstanders from 34k and bookhelves for 13k
going up to boookshlves for 2L

even the absolutely entry level enthusiast has something here from a decent brand

I have the KEF R300s for few weeks. They are very good for a pair of bookshelf speakers.
I have been using the main HiFi electronics (Classe CP-800 + Classe CA-2100) which is alright for R300 but the surprise factor is when I am using my second system (Marantz NA7004 + Marantz PM Pearl Lite), the R300s sound more at home.
The highs are smooth and bottom end is pretty much spot on. They are one of the best bookshelves that I bought in the recent times.
