Good food and good wine and good music and good company go hand in hand.
Starting a good food and wine thread,for discussing all thing culinary.Home food.Restaurant food.Recipes.And Wines.
Beer and Alcohol comments are welcome too!But let's try to focus more on wine,domestic and imported.Among the local wines,I think Grover's is good value for money.
Some pics of street food in Beijing.Well,not exactly street food,but ordinary restaurant food.I didn't dare enter the fancy restaurants.Too many Merc's,Audi's,BMW's and other fancy looking cars parked outside.
But the food I did have,was absolutely fresh and marvelous.Reasonably priced and contrary to popular misconceptions,there were adequate vegetarian options.Language was a major hurdle.But pretty soon,I learnt to identify restaurants which had photos of the dishes,and I would simply point and order!
