We had our conversations before and I know your preferences when it comes to hifidelity loudspeakers. Your approach is very custom designed to suit your music and SPL levels. I am sure you will never buy a Tannoy, TAD or Vandersteen loudspeaker too![]()
TAD used to make pro speakers IIRC, Tannoy still does also IIRC. While I wouldn't be interested in consumer TAD, the larger heritage Tannoys of old likely produce interesting if low volume timbre, the price these go for there are better choices, but before Uli Tannoy was interesting. Vandersteen, not worth discussing. So I would buy older TAD (pro) and Tannoy (heritage) at the right price (new), but the price I consider worthy for these is well below current/previous market price. One final note I'd only buy these to add to my collection, not replace my main speakers, there is no worthy replacement.
