I am shifting to new house , in which there is
Place for tower speakers placement beside my 32 inch led.
Is it advisable to place tower speakers above ground level ?

I have my Z5 about 9" off the ground. I like the sound that way. 2 feet does seem extreme I must say.

your problem will be getting your supports exactly the same height and level. I was OCD and told the carpenter about my need for accuracy and precision in his measurements. Not that he gave a **ap

Mine are about 200 mm on a metal frame which allows sound movement? and also away from the wall about 450 mm . I think it's worth moving them around to see what gives you your optimal performance to suit your room

There is no place to place the speakers in hall . Its the only option.

I have my towers a foot off the floor with custom designed sand filled stand. The towers get locked inside the stand to minimize any kind of resonance.
This suits my near field listening.
