i got my sonus faber concertos. compact but heavy like hell.
opened the first speaker box and found it intact.
but opened the second box and found little plastic chips littered inside.
petrified i took the speaker out and found the connection (where the speaker wire connectors are) plastic panel on the back pushing out on the bottom two screws. i gently pushed it back inside and now it is firm.
i remember reading somewhere that the quality of this specific plastic part is cheap. and that had cracked/chipped a bit.
so can i connect the speakers to my amp to check it out. or is there any danger here of shorting something or generally harming some component inside?
appreciate any insights.
