Tuning Problem - SONY ST- JX661

Hi,

I have been using this basic Sony Digital tuner for about 4 years without any issues. For the last few days I am facing:-

1) For getting 91.1 FM clearly, I have to tune the tuner at 91.2 or 91.25 and
for 92.7 it is to be tuned at 92.85 or 91.9. This is happening for all
stations.

2) The stations are not storing in memory and every time I have to tune the
radio.

Please advise what is to be done to overcome these issues.

Hi,

Some basic checks:- (in case you have not done them)

1. Check Antenna - there could be interference coming in from some source and if the antenna was not picking up properly the signal can get swamped (I had an issue recently after a mobile tower came up - reorienting the antenna sorted it out). If it is on auto tune then it will go crazy trying to store the correct frequency.

2. Check Power supply - any loose contact can also cause the same problem - I faced this also,

It's misaligned and needs new super cap for memory supply.
