TV Tuner to Capture Video - Recommend pliz

I am planning to get a TV Tuner Card and need recommendations

Purpose: Mostly to capture HD video (planning for a HD-DTH connection)
MotherBoard: Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3

Budget: Not decided yet.

Expecting response and recommendations from members.

The Cards mentioned in the above post has only S-Video/Composite Video. Is it possible to caputre video at 1080i or 720p resolution through this.

Does USB TV Tuner Card give equally good quality in video capture like internal TV tuner cards?

This product looks impressive. You can connect the STB via HDMI to the TV and via component to the PVR. This way you can also do away with the looping requirements. But is there anything that overcomes 2 issues

1. Has internal storage and records without using a computer. Then we can transfer files to a Computer when the device fills up?

2. Works with Macs.

Is there a cost effective standalone DVR which supports HD component input and SPDIF input and USB storage only?

You can use a media player like Kaiboer Technology co.ltd. - H1283 HD Media Player. However this player has only composite input for recording.
