Having seen and heard JVC stuff in the 80’s And seeing these now, I can confidently say that the designs have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Wonder if they took inspiration from the bazooka’s here ?

Two of my precious belongings would qualify for unconventional designs. First my speakers, Soundkaos Vox 3afw & amp Bakoon Amp-13r (my setup photo)



Here is the better speaker design photo to illustrate drivers pacement.



Bakooon's Amp-13r has transformer in it's feet (larger one) and other legs also act as heat sink.
