Hey Tech folks,
I need to upgrade to a newer featured 32" TV from the existing Sony BX300 32" TV.
If we see the prices for Toshiba or Sharp, they are much less than other brands like the Samsung, LG or Sony (excluding the Chinese assembled brands like Micromax etc).
Though I know both these are good and established brands, I am somewhat apprehensive of because of the lower price (though I do not believe in higher cost = better quality).
What is the reason behind the low prices:
Also, what should be my asking price for the Sony BX300 32" bought 3 years back, given that exchange value with vendor is no more than 5K.
Thanks,
Nitin

What is the reason behind the low prices:
- is it the quality of the hardware
- the poor after sales service
- just the general picture quality not being good due to lower refresh rates
