Hi All,

I recently got new Motherboard, CPU and PSU.
CPU - AMD fx6100
GPU - 9800GS
PSU - Antec VP650 (not at all happy with the purchase due to its noise performance esp. considering our craving for best audio experience)
4gb DDR3 1333 (Not sure if that makes much diff though :))
500gb HDD
2TB HDD
1 ODD
No extra cards.

I have a V-guard Slender Plus 600 and when i start the system it starts making weird noise. I understand its struggling to power-up the PC.

However this is even before system boots up during the POST process which i believe will run all components at their maximum capacity. So i understand i need to get a bigger UPS.

Now, do i need to look for "VA" or "Watts" when i make my purchase? When suggesting please factor in future addition of 2 more gb ram, one more large HDD maybe 3TB and mid-range GPU.

What are cheap yet decent performing brands? I am not that excited about this V-guard since this seems to make some weird noise these days.

Back-up time is not my concern as long as it can provide 5 mins back-up.

P.s:- Also if someone can suggest me silent alternatives to stock AMD heatsink and also PSU fan, that would be great!!

Thank you! :)
