I need a complete audio system recommendation for my Maruti Zen.
I need a bass heavy system.
Kindly reply fast.

First of all fitting a sub in that budget and getting a decent system is very difficult given the budget.

Here is a vague suggestion :
Pioneer head unit ~ rs 3500 - 4000
Blaupunkt - GTx 572 SC 2 Way-Coaxial Speaker ~ rs 2500 - 3000
Rockford Fosgate - Prime Series - R142 - 4'' Full Range Speakers ~ rs 2500 to 3000

add another 5k to 7k to the list to get a subwoofer.

you can try Alpine 2-Din System available at Maruti Showrooms.
MRP: 5490/-
MRP: 7490/- with Bluetooth

both these units comes with Alpine Branded 4" Speakers Free-of-cost.

one of my friend tried the same in his Zen and happy with the Bass.

I already have some basic pioneer 6x9 in the boot, though m not happy with the sound.
Can i just get the 2 din alpine system with the 4" speakers and also buy an active bass tube??

Yes that is a good idea. But don't buy local make bass tubes they produce more distortion and muddy bass than actual thing!

The blaupunkts are 5x7.Won't 6x9's produce better bass ??

Yes they would produce more bass, you can use that and cut the budget of buying speakers.

But branded active sub at 5k is hard to get. You only option here is that you can get a amplifier separately and hook it up with the passive sub. Other options include making your own subwoofer.

You can get chip amp or such made (from ebay or from forum member) in around 1.5k or such hook it to the passive sub and enjoy quality music, or sheel out around 12k more to get a amp and sub together/ active sub.

The idea that i gave you is implemented in my car and sound great than active sub's commercially available.

gone are the old days of tiny car systems ..
if you are willing to go on a different route

try TAb>SMSL amp > some matching cones like JBL .
good tabs like the JXd come in 3K .
awesome tabs like nexus7 can be grabbed in 7k via olx .

you will have lot of ease to play songs and video!

Kshitij,
Alpine 2din audio+ 4" front sports + alpine SPJ69C3 spkrs is a good enough.
Costing = 7490 + FOC + 2990 = 10480/-

Rgds

Won' this seup give me a rear soundstage ??
Where is this alpine scheme going on?

I had JBL Gt5 series in my previous car, a wagon R. It was enclosed in box speakers and that produced good bass. but not in the levels that you get with Sub woofers.

Can anyone also guide me to some good and cheap installer in noida or east/south delhi ??

Went ahead and bought blaupunkt melbourne 120 HU and JBL CS6 for the front
Retained the pioneer 6x9's in the boot in cotton filled mdf boxes...
